Cork Craft Month begins this weekend and as part of that I’m showing some jewellery in my local yoga studio. I practice yoga in Yoga Republic so I was delighted to exhibit some work when Diana approached me to submit some pieces.
The aim of Cork Craft Month is to showcase local artists and craftmakers. It’s a great to see exhibitions popping up around the county in the most unlikely places, like where I practice yoga! I love how this opens the work of local artists to a whole new audience.
I’m showing a selection of silver and gold jewellery which I’m in the process of framing. I also have a silver bowl that I made this month that I might include in the exhibition, depending on space.
