Before Christmas I bought a second hand set of stakes that were advertised in the Benchpeg newsletter.
The great thing about getting second hand tools is the price, the only downside is that sometimes they require a little work to get them cleaned up and ready to use.
I know it’s Christmas week so I should have probably started this project a little earlier but it was only when I was bombarded by shows on how to make Christmas cakes and desserts did I think about making the perfect Christmas utensil.
When I get an order for a piece of jewellery such is my enthusiasm to get started I forget to document the process for my blog! This week I decided to make a simple silver ring and photograph each stage of the process. Here are the photos from today’s work.
